A panel board is a component that has an electrical distribution system. This divides the electrical power feed.

This feed goes into branch circuits. Plus, the panel board has a protective circuit breaker or a fuse, depending on the kind, that is used for each circuit via an enclosed area.

These panel boards protect the branch circuits from either overloading or short circling.

The expansion board is a particular panel board that has a UGA 640 X 480 TFT LCD with a 24-bit parallel RG8 interface. It also has a resistive 4-wire touch screen.

This panel board, a Lascar PanelPilot Thermocouple Board for Temperature,  is a green board that is compatible with a PanelPilot M Series display. It is mounted on the back of an SGD display module.

This can be used with a K, J, or T thermocouple connected via a screw terminal. It also has a built-in cold-junction compensation (CIC) taking its power from an SGD meter.

This type of panel board allows the individual to tailor the meter for its application requirements.

It’s easy to plug in the option cards. It has one card per slot. Plus, it comes with a 10V DC power supply for weighing meters.
